The Vauwau are a species of giant, white, maggot-like creatures which live in the second stage of GR3. T hey act as the first boss of that stage. They may be related to the Blizzard Crawler.
Attack Pattern Edit
The Vauwau will loop from one side of the screen to the other as it bounces along, which one must be careful to avoid. The Vauwau will start the battle by leaping, releasing a group of green energy balls from its back, and submerging, springing down almost instantly from the top of the screen. The energy balls it fires will aim at you and fire themselves, but can be dodged easily. There are actually multiple Vauwau, after one dies another comes to take its place. After they are defeated, the player must face Big Core MK II.
