The Electronic Cage first appears in Gradius. It looks like two bars, which fire electricity between each other.
A Parody version was later featured in Parodius Da!, and it was later upgraded into Electronic Cage MK2 in Gradius ReBirth.

Attack Pattern

The Electronic Cage doesn't have much of a pattern. It flies in, generates four streams of electricity between the bars, and then stays there for a while. The only real danger are the Duckers, not the cage itself. The cage is easily avoided if you don't fly into the middle of it.
