Dept is an enemy in the arcade version of Gradius III. They appears in the last stage, the Bionic Germ-like stage.

Depts are brain-like enemies. They move only up and down, and can't be destroyed, so the only thing is to avoid them, but they can create very difficult navigations for the Vic Viper. They are considered more of a hazard type of enemies.
